This is a really luscious, rich cab, yet it remains fresh and tensioned with underlying chocolate and vanilla character to the full body and round tannins. Give it time to come together. Better after 2022.

(Please note: This was the original release note for the 2016 Cab. The “Reserve” has been kept at the winery for 7 years and is late released, meaning it has further matured, improved and complexified in flavor. It is safe to say that if Mr. Suckling were to score the wine again, it would be higher)
