Ratings & Tasting notes:
96 points James Suckling
This white has wonderful richness and depth of fruit here. Full body, with a very dense palate of dried pineapple and mangos. Hints of cream and toasted oak. Oily. This is almost all Semillon from 80-year-old vines that has the density of a Montrachet. Tiny production from ungrafted vines. This is one of 582 bottles. Drink or hold. (2/2013)
There is a lot to know and learn about this wine and it’s owner Loic Pasquet. Most importantly, this wine is made from UNGRAFTED ROOT-STOCKS to give the taste of true pre-phylloxera Cabernet Sauvignon. Please visit this site to read a great article about the man and the wine:
