Purchase with confidence. All of our wines are selectively sourced and thoroughly inspected for authenticity and signs of poor storage. Accepted bottles are preserved in our climate-controlled cellar until they reach your doorstep. We have no storefront and no walk-in traffic, so nothing is moved or handled between inspection and shipping.
The bottle you see photographed is the bottle you receive (or fundamentally identical when multiple bottles are listed), and our commitment to you is that it arrives as represented. If it doesn’t, we want to hear from you.

From one of the truly great Champagne vintages of the last thirty years, the 1988 Cristal Rosé is simply fabulous. White truffles, hard candy, and wild flowers add nuance, but above all else I find the wine’s freshness utterly mesmerizing. With time in the glass, the 1988 keeps getting richer and more vinous, with layers of fruit that continue to unfurl. Today, the 1988 appears to have at least another 10-15 years of fine drinking ahead of it, although I would prefer to err on the side of caution. (AG) (5/2015)
