  12. Buyer Understands and Agrees to the following Disclaimer: Cult Wines International cannot guarantee the condition of the cork or quality of the wine inside the bottles. We examine our wines carefully and avoid wines with poor provenance. We do our best by storing the wine in optimum conditions and accurately describing the condition of the bottles in each listing, but this is as far as we can go when it comes to quality assurance. Wine is alive inside the bottle and changes over time. We also cannot guarantee the peak drinking window of a wine. Older wines may be past their peak when opened. Vintage corks can shrink, and degrade. Corks may break or crumble when removed. This is normal for older wines. You may open a bottle of old wine and have one of the greatest experiences of your life. You may open a similar bottle and find it’s past its prime or oxidized. There is an inherent risk assumed by all buyers in the vintage wine world. It’s as simple as that.
