The NV Champagne Brut Rose is an attractive pale salmon hue, with a fresh perfume of wild strawberry, ripe peach, white and red flowers, a hint of tropical fruit, and grapefruit. The palate is rounded, with fruit up front and through the mid-palate, and it has a silky and fresh lift. There is a wonderful ease and drinkability to this wine, which delivers balance and finesse. A succulent, delicious and precise brut rosé, made of chardonnay, pinot meunier and pinot noir. It has notes of wild currants, peach skin and mild spices. It’s medium-bodied and vivid with fine bubbles and plenty of succulence. Sour cherries and redcurrants on the palate. Fresh acidity and a comforting, fruity character to the delicious finish.

Sleek and finely knit, with a lovely, satiny mousse gliding across the palate, carrying flavors of white raspberry, peach skin, blanched almond and oyster shell. Long and mouthwatering, with hints of ground ginger and pink grapefruit pith on the elegant finish. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. (AN, Web-2023)
Cult Wines International Notes:
Billecart-Salmon Brut Le Rose Champagne is a highly regarded non-vintage rosé that is celebrated for its elegance, finesse, and delicate character. It is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir (with a small portion added as red wine to achieve its color), and Pinot Meunier. The production secrets and vinification methods for this cuvée have been passed down through seven generations of the Billecart family, ensuring a consistent and renowned style.
The wine is known for its radiant, pale pink hue with hints of gold and its fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, it offers subtle and refined aromas of red berries, such as wild strawberry and raspberry, along with refreshing notes of citrus zest. The palate is light and elegant, with a creamy smoothness that gives way to flavors of red fruits and a touch of a brioche and savory, saline finish. It maintains a beautiful balance between its delicate fruitiness and a clean, lively acidity. This champagne is often described as a “romantic” cuvée and is highly versatile, making it a perfect accompaniment for a variety of dishes, including fine charcuterie, grilled salmon, and red fruit desserts. It has consistently received high praise and critical acclaim from various wine critics, solidifying its reputation as a benchmark for rosé champagnes.
