Straight away this wine offers up generous and seamless aromas of silky dark fruits, black cherry, and cassis which are complemented with a sweet vanilla note and subtle hints of the earthiness signature of the Rutherford Bench. Rich, bold and mouth filling with lavish flavors of dusty, dark chocolate cherry, and lush currants. As the wine swirls in the glass, the wonderful aromatics and flavors continuously come forth adding to its depth and complexity. The opulent refined tannins are seamlessly integrated with the prefect acidity to carry this wine well into the future gracefully. The Gary Morisoli Cabernet makes my Reserve selection year after year. With such impressive Cabernet characteristics along with that signature “Rutherford dust” component is what this great Cabernet Sauvignon is all about!
