Ratings & Tasting notes:
From the winery:
“The 2018 Jack’s Vineyard Cabernet exhibits a full purple core and aromas are immediate upon pulling the cork. Black raspberry and fresh ground coffee fill the glass, followed by the quintessential cocoa and truffle of Howell Mountain. The wine is extremely round and plush on the palate with blackberry and ripe plums taking the lead matched by eucalyptus and vanillin. The tannins are firm but chalky, with great acidity to match. The 2018 is a great example of a single-vineyard site (single-acre) on Howell Mountain during perfect growing conditions and should age wonderfully over the next 12-15 years.”
Stored in a climate controlled cellar on its side in the dark at 55 degrees F and 75% humidity since purchase.
