The 2018 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes (Domaine Louis Jadot) exhibits notes of buttered orchard fruit, almonds and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with chalky grip and moderate concentration, it’s a touch short on the finish to be considered a top-flight Charmes.
