The pinnacle wine for Terlato Vineyards, Episode stands shoulder to shoulder with the very best Bordeaux Blends in the world. Episode is crafted in limited quantities, a mere 17 barrels in 2007, heralded as the best vintage of the decade.
The color is deep ruby. On the nose are blackberry and vanilla with hints of anise seed. On the palate is a burst of vibrant black fruits with an intense mid-palate, smooth lingering tannins, and a persistent spicy finish.
Blend: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, and 4% Cabernet Franc

This is Terlato’s ambitious entry into the cult Cabernet lottery. Based on Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, it’s an elaborate wine, deep and long in blackberry, cherry, currant, mocha and sandalwood flavors. The tannins are impressive, yet young, giving a tough, astringent mouthfeel. But ageability is brought into question by some superripeness, in the form of raisins.
Stored on it’s side in a climate controlled cellar since purchase.
