Purchase with confidence. All of our wines are selectively sourced and thoroughly inspected for authenticity and signs of poor storage. Accepted bottles are preserved in our climate-controlled cellar until they reach your doorstep. We have no storefront and no walk-in traffic, so nothing is moved or handled between inspection and shipping.
The bottle you see photographed is the bottle you receive (or fundamentally identical when multiple bottles are listed), and our commitment to you is that it arrives as represented. If it doesn’t, we want to hear from you.

Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux is the second wine of Château Margaux, the First Growth that has defined elegance in the Médoc for centuries. Made by the same team and with the same care as the grand vin, it has carried the Pavillon Rouge name since 1908, and since the Mentzelopoulos family acquired the estate in 1977 its quality has risen to rival many classified growths.
2004 was a classic, cooler Médoc vintage that favored freshness and precision. Critics have compared this Pavillon Rouge to the grand vin in style, if a touch less intense, with black currant, cherry, sandalwood, dried flowers and smoke on a medium-bodied, concentrated palate. Vinous and Jeb Dunnuck both awarded 90 points. With two decades in bottle, it offers a mature, approachable taste of Château Margaux.
