At 39 years of age, this wine has an amazingly bright colour and soft, elegant, savoury flavours with a kick of liquorice and a surprisingly long finish. Made completely from estate fruit, it’s still fresh and bright, and the huge, intense tannins have smoothed to a silkiness in the mouth. The growing season was long and cool, with harvest in late September and into October. (EM)  (9/2019)
