Ratings & Tasting Notes:
94 points Vinous
The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon is soft, open-knit and very pretty. Still very fresh and nuanced, the 2011 is impeccable today. Bright red cherry fruit, cedar, mint, tobacco and earthy notes all grace this understated Cabernet from Dalla Valle. The aromatics are so expressive today. Hints of crushed red berry fruit, mint and spice build into the long, persistent finish. (AG) (5/2022)
92 points Int’l Wine Cellar
Enticing aromas and flavors of red- and blackcurrant, minerals, licorice and nutty oak. Tactile, chewy and deep, with captivating sweetness perfectly leavened by superb acidity. Remarkably dense and layered for 2011. Finishes very long and concentrated, with lively acidity and firm but suave tannins. This wine has turned out beautifully. (ST) (5/2014)
