Tasting Notes:
91-93 points Wine Advocate A wonderful nose of wild strawberry, cherry and orange zest, that become more minerally the more you nose it. Superb definition. Not a powerful palate, but very fresh and earthy, with brambly red fruits, morello cherry, cranberry and a touch of redcurrant towards the finish. Moderate complex, perhaps not a long-term proposition, but utterly delicious to drink, which is why it was made after all. (NM) (6/2004)
Burghound Superb elegance here for a villages level Pommard, especially for one that is not even particularly well placed. Subdued aromas of earth and grilled nuts followed by very fresh, round, almost tender flavors with a sweet, very sappy finish and supported by ripe, well integrated tannins. Outstanding quality for its level. (1/2003)
