Our Provenance Guarantee

Purchase with confidence. All of our wines are selectively sourced and thoroughly inspected for authenticity and signs of poor storage. Accepted bottles are preserved in our climate-controlled cellar until they reach your doorstep. We have no storefront and no walk-in traffic, so nothing is moved or handled between inspection and shipping.

The bottle you see photographed is the bottle you receive (or fundamentally identical when multiple bottles are listed), and our commitment to you is that it arrives as represented. If it doesn’t, we want to hear from you.

Ratings & Tasting Notes:

100 points — Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Deep garnet-purple, with black and red cherries, mulberry, cassis cordial, red roses and lavender over crushed rock and earth, with exotic spice emerging slowly. Full-bodied and firmly structured, with very fine-grained, ripe tannins, lively freshness and a highly perfumed, poised finish.

97 points — Jeb Dunnuck
Darker currant and cassis fruit with chocolate, new leather and minty herbs. Layered and textured, with ultra-fine tannins and seamlessly integrated fruit, oak and structure, and a superb finish.

Cult Wines International Notes:

Hundred Acre was founded by Jayson Woodbridge, a former investment banker whose uncompromising vision made it one of Napa Valley’s most coveted cult wineries. Farming small estate parcels with obsessive attention to detail, Hundred Acre produces minute quantities of profound Cabernet Sauvignon, sold almost entirely through its mailing list, and it ranks alongside the most sought-after names in Napa.

Wraith is among the rarest wines in the Hundred Acre portfolio. The 2013, from a warm, dry vintage widely regarded as one of Napa’s finest of the decade, earned a perfect 100 points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, with black and red cherries, mulberry, cassis, red roses, lavender and crushed rock on a full-bodied, firmly structured frame. Jeb Dunnuck added 97 points, praising its layered texture and ultra-fine tannins. This is an original three-bottle wooden case.
