Cult Wines International Notes:
Grace Family Vineyards is a small, highly esteemed estate in Napa Valley, renowned for producing exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded in the late 1970s by Dick and Ann Grace, the vineyard quickly gained cult status for its consistently high-quality, intensely flavored, and age-worthy wines. Planted with cuttings from the renowned Bosché vineyard, Grace Family Vineyards produced its inaugural harvest in 1978. Those initial handpicked grapes were transported to Caymus Winery in a station wagon by family and friends. This Napa Valley estate, now with over four decades of history, has evolved significantly, yet its wines retain a distinct personal and familial character, marking it as one of California’s pioneering cult wines. With a limited production from their estate vineyard in St. Helena, Grace Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon is highly sought after by collectors and commands significant prices. Their traditional, hands-on approach to winemaking, focusing on meticulous vineyard management and minimal intervention in the cellar, contributes to the distinct character and enduring reputation of their wines.
