Vinous

(made from roughly 40% Pinot Meunier, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay; 10 g/l dosage; Lot 029140020): Light yellow-gold. Zesty citrus and orchard fruits on the mineral-accented nose, with a hint of white flowers coming up with aeration. Lively and focused on the palate, offering slightly tart lemon and green apple flavors and a hint of candied ginger. Closes taut and spicy, with good cut and length. (JR)  (1/2015)
