Tasting Notes:
95 points Jeb Dunnuck There are roughly 1,000 cases of the 2019 The Maiden, a classy, full-bodied, beautifully textured wine that clearly has some Harlan Estate class and style. Cassis, graphite, integrated oak, and flowers all define the aromatics, and the tannins and purity here are brilliant. It’s a hell of a second wine. (2/2023)
94 points Wine Advocate The 2019 The Maiden is gorgeous. Creamy, ample and expressive, the Maiden is a terrific introduction to the year. Succulent dark cherry, plum, chocolate, spice, leather, menthol fill out the layers beautifully. Medium in body, with gorgeous up-front fruit and radiance. (AG) (2/2023)
