Vincent Joudart Special Club 2018

Another great Special Club champagne. 2500 bottles made per released vintage, made in Fèrebrianges, Champagne. There whole production makes around 70,000 bottles per year. So it is a small percentage that is their top cuvée. This bottle is made partially in oak barrels and steel tanks. And has gone through malolactic fermentation.

Special Club Champagne, also known as the Club de Trésors or Club of Treasures, represents the best classification for grower Champagnes. This club was established back in 1971 as the Club de Viticulteurs Champenois with the purpose of evaluating and recognizing exceptional quality among specific Champagne growers. The small producers worked together to produce a specially made glass bottle for their best vintages. And they only choose their best vintages to be put in Special Club bottles.

Grapes: 50% Pinot Meunier, 34% Chardonnay, 16% Pinot Noir.
Dosage: Brut, 5g/L
ABV: 12% Vol.
