Tasting Notes:
97 points Jeb Dunnuck
From a valley floor site beside To Kalon, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur de Vallée (76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Cabernet Franc) boasts an incredibly sexy, full-bodied, thrillingly textured profile as well as to-die-for notes of blueberries, black cherries, dried herbs, and flowers. This powerful, blockbuster-styled beauty checks in near the top of the vintage, and while already drinking beautifully, it will keep for 15-20 years. (6/2018)
96 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Only 100 cases were produced of the 2014 Coeur De Vallée Proprietary Red, which is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc. All of this comes from Oakville. The wine is incredibly complex with a dense purple color, a striking bouquet of violets, forest floor, licorice, fruitcake, blackberry and blackcurrants. It is powerful and rich with supple tannins and extraordinary concentration and purity. This is a magnificent wine to drink over the next 25 or more years. (RP) (10/2016)
