Tasting Notes:
95 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Beautiful blackberry and blueberry fruit jump from the glass of the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Martinez Vineyard, which spent 26 months in 100% new French oak. Apparently this comes from a vineyard on Pritchard Hill, and one can see the blue fruits, the white flowers and the gorgeously pure texture and richness. This is superb, full-bodied and a real stunner. It’s no wimpy wine, either, at 15.4% alcohol. Drink it over the next 20 years. (RP) (12/2015)
