Rocca’s most expensive wine is Cabernet, although it doesn’t say so on the label. It’s very rich and flamboyant, offering waves of blackberries and cassis liqueur. New French oak shows up, but it’s in keeping with the wine’s volume. With massive tannins and brilliant balance, there’s no reason this shouldn’t age for a long time. Start enjoying it after 2018.
