90 points Wine Spectator
Dark color. Sturdy, rich and concentrated, with complex currant, black cherry, tar, and plum flavors. Lacks the finesse and extra dimensions of the Special Selection, but still a very impressive, concentrated wine. (JL, Web-2002)
Dark ruby/purple-colored, with an intriguing nose of spicy new oak, blackcurrants, and a pronounced herbaceousness, this wine exhibits lush, medium to full-bodied, flavors, moderate tannin, fine ripeness, and the lavish oak Caymus Cabernets routinely display. (RP) (10/1994)
Always stored properly in a climate controlled cellar.
