Ratings & Tasting Notes:
Wine Advocate
The 1987 Pichon-Longueville-Baron is an excellent wine for the vintage. Rich, long, supple, and fat. (RP) (8/1993)
Wine Spectator
Elegant and well balanced, with ripe currant, bell pepper, spice and vanilla notes. Complex and well proportioned, with a touch of tobacco, this has more flavor than most from this vintage. It needs time for tannins to mellow. (10/1990)
